YOU JUST THOUGHT YOU WON

People who win the lottery in North Carolina might have had something else in mind when their ticket matched the winning numbers. I'm not saying it's a bad thing...collecting back child support and student debt seems like an okay thing to me. Especially if it's delinquent. They do it with federal and state income taxes, so why not with the lottery? The only problem I might have with it would be taking the winnings from those who are making regular and timely payments already. If they are already being the responsible citizen by paying their debts, why take something they've won. Chances are someone that responsible will pay it anyway. What do you think?
